Time for a make-over: resoling your woodys

Do you love your woodys, but the soles have suffered from environmental influences or drying out? No problem! Thanks to our sustainable PU rubber soles, which are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way, you can have your shoes resoled without any problems. The prerequisite is that the top of your woody is still in good condition. Our three-layer stitched leather uppers can even last for several shoe lifetimes.

What do you have to do?

Step 1: Choose one of the two sole replacement options for your woody®-shoe and upload at least 3 photos of your shoes using the upload button. Our service team will check the photos to see whether resoling is possible. Make sure the tops of your shoes are clearly visible. The condition of the leather is crucial to its ability to be repaired.

Step 2: Complete your sole replacement order. If resoling is not possible because the upper parts of your shoes are too badly damaged, you will receive a refund of the purchase amount.

Step 3: After you order and view the photos, we will send you a shipping label by email. Print it out, stick it on the package with your shoes and drop it off at a post office of your choice. Now you can sit back and let us take care of the rest

The make-over for your woodys can begin:

Your shoes will be thoroughly checked again upon arrival. If everything fits, we move on to shoemaking.
The clamps are removed and the uppers are carefully separated from the soles. You have to work very carefully so that it can be attached again.
Choosing the right soles for your model and preparation.
Assembling your old uppers onto the new soles.
The shoes are steamed and lasted. The last (foot model) is fixed on the sole, this is used for the final shape.
The shoes now go into an oven for 4 hours, after which they are taken out again.
Finally, the leather is cleaned and a precise quality control is carried out.
Now your shoes are finished and ready to be repackaged and shipped back to you.
